Rosemount Flow Computer 2.0

Rosemount Flow Computer by KEP is a communications driver for KEPServerEX that provides reliable, high‑performance connectivity to Rosemount/Emerson flow computers used in oil and gas measurement. It enables real-time data acquisition and electronic flow measurement (EFM) collection, making meter runs, totals, alarms, and historical archives available to SCADA, HMI, historians, and enterprise systems through KEPServerEX’s standard interfaces.

Key capabilities

• Real-time polling of pressures, temperatures, differential pressure, flow rates, totals, status, and diagnostics
• EFM retrieval, including hourly/daily archives, alarms/events, and audit trails
• Support for many Rosemount/Emerson flow computer families over serial or Ethernet (refer to KEP’s compatibility list)
• Time synchronization and configurable scan rates to maintain data integrity
• Integrated diagnostics and event logging for faster troubleshooting
• Data exposure via KEPServerEX interfaces such as OPC UA and OPC DA; optional IoT Gateway can stream data to REST/MQTT targets
• Works with KEPServerEX EFM export tools to deliver records to files or databases in common industry formats
